Ta Da! The Subfloor Is Done.

There was only about 1/2" of snow last night so it didn't take long to clean it up this morning. Then I was able to get right to work on the last little bit of subfloor.

By coffee time I was almost done.

Finally... the last screw has been driven and this task is done!

  1. Gorgeous view! My husband and I just bought a house 300 miles from the city. We bought a house that is almost 130 years old, so a little different from your purchase! :) I do believe though that if we didn't have 5 kids we would be making a purchase similar to yours.

Your work looks great so far! We haven't started ours yet but when we do it will be similar to starting from the beginning.

  2. Thank you very much! Yes... but your house has something that mine doesn't... "character"... and that can't be duplicated.

  3. character...if by that you mean an odor that we are hoping disapperas when we remove the carpet and garbage left behind by the PO, then yes, our home has character! Seriously though, I believe character occurs when the house is alive with emotions and color and care so yours will in fact have as much as ours.
